A friend's grandmother just had a stroke and there is apparently bleeding on her brain and nothing can be done. She is 90 and has had a few calls recently...

Really sad situation. Would appreciate your prayers.

Edit: I left off that her family is in Australia and she is in London. And the suddenness made it difficult to find a flight, but she was able to get one for tonight. Though, I'm assuming it was costly

I feel really bad for my friend.

Her grandma raised her, and she was telling me that she always felt like her gran was the only one who ever unconditionally loved her.

I am thinking the 24 hr plane ride is going to be a rough ride for her...

She needs just as much prayer as her gran...

I'm praying for her. That's a tough situation.

She died.

Wow. How hard to get off of a twelve hour flight, only half way back, and to be told about a loved one's death. And then to have to get back on another plane for 12 more hours.

Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy.

I hope they were honest with her about the prognosis before she got on the plane. Praying for comfort for her.

I think she knew, but was hoping that by luck she would get back there before she had passed.

Thanks for praying.
