And now Biden is officially out. Even though he was never official in, he was polling. Do his supporters now flock to Hillary? Someone else in particular? Or divide fairly evenly?

I'm very interested to see this. I think the polls were showing him carrying people who don't want Clinton, and find Sanders too extreme.

Cruz is out and it looks like The Donald will take the Republican nomination. I'm not endorsing, just stating facts.

I haven't been keeping up at all lately. Has he actually thrown in the towel, or is there just no hope for him?

He "suspended" his campaign. Which means it's basically over but he can still raise money.

And it looks like Kasich will be suspending his campaign later today.

Trump is the last Republican standing. But most polls I've seen indicate that he would lose to either Clinton or Sanders. His unfavorability ratings are unprecedented AFAIK. That said, he has surprised analysts and pundits at every turn. I don't think the Democrats can rest easy.

Ugh. The Donald.

Le sigh. I guess it was inevitable, but I was hoping for just about anything else. I'm just going to write in one of my friends or a third party candidate. I can't in good conscience vote for either of these two.

I hate saying this out loud. As much as I dislike him... I almost like him over Hillary...

I wonder if others who are predisposed toward those populist characters (I.e. Sanders) will diverge from the 'liberal' root (Hillary) and merge toward Trump.

Yeah, he is occasionally likeable. I don't think I've ever felt that way about Hillary. Neither will be getting my vote though.

A small percentage of self-described liberals seem to have a favorable view of Trump (I think I heard the figure of 8% but I can't find it anywhere). But I reckon most of them will either fall in line with the party or vote for someone else entirely.

Just out of curiousity, who's left? I've only really been hearing about Trump and Hillary lately...

Sanders is still in the Democrat race. The third party candidates are still in. Johnson the libertarian and Stein, who I think is green, are the two I have heard of.

Is this one of these things where Hillary and Trump are really terrible candidates but one of them is most likely to win?

Just read where Reuters said (yesterday) that in a head to head match, Trump may win against Hillary (like 1.8% lead, but 3% margin of error).
