Seaweed that tastes like bacon, but healthier than kale?

Before we go ahead and make bacon-seaweed farms, we should investigate the affects they would have on the environment.

What animals eat bacon-seaweed -- can we take an increase in those animals? When we take it out of its natural habitat, does go out of control? Will it change watertables/pH balance in those new areas?

Fire up the hydroponics.

I predict that if this can be grown in a home setup a lot of folks who grow legal marijuana may jump on this. It just has all the hallmarks of Oregon all over it.

I will be watching this story cautiously.

Bacon isn't something you fool around with.

In the article I read it talked about growing them inland with water circulating tanks. Definitely seems like it's all about environmentally isolated farming.

Given that the strain was produced by scientists not nature... it doesn't *have* a natural habitat.

The original post was kinda tongue in cheek

This is great news! Perhaps the end of BacOs is in sight?
