Have you heard of these guys? They have a sound sorta like Tool.

They're songs are Hey Man, Nice Shot, Take A Picture, & No Love.

Yeah, they have a hard style. So, have you heard of them before?

Yeah.

I'm really only familiar with Picture as Hey Man Nice Shot though. They were a fairly popular alt-rock act in the late 90s

They have new stuff. But, the older stuff sounds like Tool.

Tool had awesome guitar, but their theme is a little too dark. Kinda sad if you think of it.

But, I don't know the guy from Filter. But, the guy from Tool isn't nice either. So, I can't think of any reason not to hate it.

The guy from Tool is also from A Perfect Circle. Which, that band was pretty hard.

Helmet & Nine Inch Nails might be sorta similar to Filter and Tool. But, I'm not sure.

Richard Patrick (Filter) played guitar in Nine Inch Nails for a while.

I did like Take A Picture...but that's about it.

I've tried to listen to both Tool and A Perfect Circle and while I can appreciate their musical talent...I just don't like his vocals or much of his subject matter.

Hmm, interesting.

Hey Man, Nice Shot had cool guitar, but it's been so long since I've listened to them, so I don't remember if the lyrics were any good.

Eh, their guitar is cool, but the album work and the style is too over the edge. To me it is.

Hmm, so I guess Filter was made 6 years after Tool came out. Or maybe 5 or 4 years. Yeah, they don't seem like a old band for some reason. Kinda interesting.
