I have the original Apple Watch. Battery definitely lasts a full day. It's almost 5PM and I'm at 72%.

Fair enough. I'd heard only that it barely lasts a few hours with reasonable use and you'd spend the rest of the day on standby.

But hey, if you get a full day out of it then that's good.

I suppose I don't use it as much as some people might. I use it for time, notifications, and maybe sending a quick text.

I also have all of the gimmicky glance things or whatever off. My watch face is super plain.

That's probably helping significantly.

That's exactly what I would do. Have you ever used the heart rate monitor on your watch?

Yeah. I try to avoid using it, because it just tells me that I'm really out of shape.

I see a lot of people with Apple Watchs at the gym (but they might be using it for a different reason though).

Samsung also has made smartwatches as well. But, from what I remember, they been doing smartwatches BEFORE Apple introduced their smartwatch. Anyway, I also remember Apple said something when they introduced their smartwatch like "We've seen many people staring down at their phones. So, we introduced the Apple Watch so people could go face-to-face more".

Yep, there's a been a reasonable smarwatch market for sometime before Apple brought theirs out. I had my Pebble for a year and a half before the Apple Watch came out (and they were available 2 years before the Apple Watch) and the Galaxy Gear was available for about a year and a half before the Apple Watch, too.

Haha I see what you mean. I actually thought this was "IssactheSyrian" (misread the name) posting on here, and I was GOING to say "Well, I thought this was going to a spam post, but guess not". True story fyi

Man, this thread is.....old? Kinda. Well, obviously Apple released a Apple Watch Series 2 like 2 years ago I think. And close to a year ago they released the Apple Watch Series 3, which brought cellular connectivity for the first time (not like other manufacturers have ALREADY done that, but Apple likes live up to their potential they say ).

Have you guys heard of the Fitbit Versa? Apparently they say it's the first smartwatch to nearly tie the Apple Watch . Maybe I'm wrong, but what do you guys think? Is it real or just a hype? And do you own one? Suggestions are welcome

Yeah, or I ask people, or I look at the clock on the wall.

I think originally I stopped using one because wearing one while using the machinery I operated, was considered dangerous. Due to the fact that if it got caught on something I could receive serious injury.

Nowadays I don’t wear one because I have close body contact with my clients, and I may damage their skin by ripping or tearing their skin if the watch bumps them.

That makes sense
