Check out As Cities Burn.

They are amazing. Great singing/screaming, but also phenomenal guitar work.

And if you want some nu-metal type stuff check out Demon Hunter.

I've heard both bands. Demon Hunter is ok. I'll try As Cities Burn. Hey, if you got more, please tell me on my blog. My blog is christianhardrockguy.wordpress. Ok, thanks.

This is old and outdated and Comic Sans, but functional Christian to Secular Music comparison

That hurt my head just seeing (and remembering) those types of charts.

Skillet = techno rock

Around the time this list was probably published, it was a description that sort of would've worked...unless you knew what industrial was

I known that site unfornutaly . I thought there's a site that I could type in a secular hard rock band and get back a list of christian hard rock bands. If you don't, then that's ok. I mainly am searching for christian hard rock bands that have that awesome hard rock guitar sound and nice sounding lyrics if you know what I mean. I mean, those secular hard rock bands put off some great hard rock sounds that I can't find in other christian hard rock bands, I might be wrong. If you do know any good christian hard rock bands, please tell on my blog, christianhardrockguy.wordpress. Thanks

Emery is really good. Maybe Extol, but they're really... metal.

Is there any more christian substitutes for Chevelle? You know, I wouldn't mind if it doesn't exactly or similar to Chevelle, I just like good hard rock guitar & nice singing(it can be screaming but not death metal or black screaming). If you also know a site that you can type in a secular hard rock band and get back a list of christian hard rock bands or at least a christian hard rock comparison list, please tell me. Thanks

The problem with such a comparison tool is that it would have to be constantly updated.

A few bands you may want to check out that you may not otherwise know about:

Ilia
End of December
Oh, Sleeper

I checked everyone of them out and they are ok. Do you know more? As you can probably tell, I dig hard rock. I known so many non-christian hard rock bands. I hope anyone can find some good christian hard rock bands. Oh, and thanks for finding those .

I know Spoken. Their album Illusion is cool . Good choice. I haven't listen to everyone one of their albums but I will . The only thing is the singer's screaming is a little pitchy but it's ok. If you check my blog out, you'll see all the christian bands I know. I'm not sure if their all christian hard rock bands but you can check. You don't happen to any more, do you? Just asking, thank you for that choice .

The two best examples I can think of that you might like would be Project 86 (pretty much every album they've done is great, but I LOVE their "Wait For the Siren" album) and Disciple (particularly their new album "Attack").

I actually do know those bands. I absolutely love Disciple(I know most of their albums like This Might Sting A Little, By God, Back Again, Disciple(album), Scars Remain, Southern Hospitality, Horseshoes & Handgrenades, O God, Save Us All, & their new album Attack. As for Project 86, their ok. I'll check that album out . Still, if you want to know ALL christian hard rock bands, please check my blog out, www.christianhardrockguy.wordpress.com. Hey, their might be other bands I don't know. Keep it going . Thank you .
