NFL 2015-16

Well, the 49ers have now lost Frank Gore (signed with Eagles), Patrick Willis (Retiring) and Justin Smith (Retiring), as well as their entire coaching staff minus one guy, who they promoted to head coach... I guess it's time for this thread.

I'm sad.

I'm sure fans of other teams are saying the same thing but.... the Rams need to move up in the draft. They're at 10, they need a QB. I'd love to see them be the ones to take a flyer in Mariota.

Chargers signed Jacoby Jones which could really up their KR game, which has been weak since Sproles left.

Nick Hardwick and Jarret Johnson retired, which will be interesting gaps to fill.

As a long-suffering Cowboys fan all I can do is hold my breath and wait until the season rolls around.

Frank Gore appears to have come to his senses and will be an Indianapolis Colt.

DeMarco Murray has deleted all mentions of the Dallas Cowboys from his twitter account. Yikes.

And apparently the Saints have agreed to trade Jimmy Graham to the freaking Seahawks.

Ugh.

Par for the course.

In exchange for Max Unger and a draft pick. I do not like this trade at all.

Jimmy Graham is good. But the Seahawks offense runs through the tailback. If you looked at Seattle's running offensive stats last season for the games Unger missed, it was eye-opening. Unless there's a super-human Center coming in a future acquisition, this deal is good news for 49er fans.

The team would be better with a less less expensive tight end and Max Unger, rather than Graham/Gronk/Gonzales/Gates/whoever and no Max Unger.

Well, the 49ers are about to lose their full back, because had domestic assault charges filed against him. At least you get the best tight end in the game out of the deal.

Packers seem to be holding the team together just fine so far. If we keep the current team and add in the draft, then we should be great this season!

Chiefs pick up Macklin from Philly (who seems to be having a fire sale) and lose our best O lineman, center Hudson to the Raiders (they make him the highest paid center in the NFL). Our O-line is becoming patchwork at best, and Eric Fisher is not living up to his "First pick in the draft" status. Hopefully he's working out to become stronger.

Anybody on here from Philly, I would love to get some local reaction to the Kelly makeover.

That goal line pass they threw at the end of the super bowl would have made a lot more sense if Jimmy Graham were on the field.

And in reference to my post about the Rams, I see they have traded Sam Bradford for Nick Foles and some picks. I hope we're not banking on Nick Foles. I hope this is maneuvering to move up in the draft.

What's wrong with Foles? He seems like he's had a fairly impressive career so far, except for his injury this past season.

Well he's definitely not a top 10 guy. Some ranking sources have him as far down as 20th on their list. He's been in the NFL long enough that he probably is what he is. I guess it's just nothing to get excited about.

I see the Rams have picked up Case Keenum as well.
