Man, this show is just phenomenal. So completely different than Breaking Bad, so deep, so much character development. It's becoming one of my all time favorites.

Honestly, I think it may actually surpass Breaking Bad.

Wow...

The ending of this episode.

As a whole, I really liked the episode. He's one devious sucker, that's for sure.

But, I think it goes to show that when push comes to shove he will do whatever he needs to, even if it bends the rules. But, he is gonna bend them a little more each time.

I'm continually blown away by how much I am enjoying this show. It is, imo, far superior to breaking bad.

Finale was great. I keep thinking they are going to finally have Jimmy turn completely and just go all out with devious stuff, a breaking moment.

But, they are really drawing it out. I'm surprised. I mean, he is doing devious things, but at least it seems like he is doing it because he feels trapped. He hasn't gone back to young Jimmy where he was just doing all these bad things for money and pure pleasure. He is selfish, yes, but his selfishness is different, somehow.

Still haven't watched it. It's DVRed. Hopefully tonight.

It's still young but I already enjoy it as much (if not slightly more) than Breaking Bad.

Should I watch Breaking Bad first before watching this show? Will it matter?

Anyways... Is Breaking Bad going to be worth it to binge watch, is the question for the ages

Hmmm....

I don't know what kind of shows you like.

Breaking Bad can be really bleak and depressing, imo.

I think Better Call Saul is less bleak, has many moments of hope, and quite a bit of funny moments.

And, I don't think you need to have watched BB to get into it.

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I tried watching the first 3 episodes of Breaking Bad and I couldn't get into it. Maybe coz I was so focused on finishing Arrow.

I couldn't, either. I just couldn't get myself to enjoy the characters, which is kinda important...

Interesting. It is to me a prime example of a show that makes you care about truly horrible people. Wife and I are rewatching it now.
