| where do you find a partner? Say I'm interested in finding a companion. Where would be a good place to find a Christian one?

| I met my wife by literally running into her and knocking both of us over at a church event in high school. It wasn't love at first twisted ankle.

| My wife and I went to the same church my last couple years of high school, but we never really met. Over the years I knew who she was, but we didn't meet. Five years after I graduated, we were at a mutual friend from churches 4th of July party, and now we've been married 7 years and have 2 kids. |

| I met my wife while working at the same place in high school. That was back in 1988.

| I met my wife volunteering at a non-profit pregnancy services place; we got to know each other by talking online and then going to the same church (she to mine)...
Fun facts that helped contribute to our dating relationship and eventual marital union:
1) I liked driving people to church and such; she was on my way among others
2) I liked having people over for lunch after church; she was invited and joined many times

| I've been in a grand total of three romantic relationships in my life.
For the first one, we met at youth group. I don't recommend this, at least one of you will be too young and immature. As it happens, we both were. I never even knew her surname the entire time we were "going out."
The second one was with a girl I met through a mutual (non-christian) friend. I would consider that to be my first real relationship, in terms of romance. It also showed that you don't have to completely lock yourself into Christian friendship circles to meet Christian potential romantic interests.
My wife, I met through being on the same music team at church. Despite the fact that she'd been going to the same church as me for years, this was the first thing that really made us cross paths. For me, this was the most natural and best of the three relationships (obviously). Being very interested in music, the worship team we were both on provided some great common ground for the relationship to build from. We now jointly lead a worship team at our church, which is a wonderful thing to be able to do together.

| I will add that our selfless ambition to expand the church in our respective ministries was quite an attractive trait we found in each other. Like, not only that we had a desire to see God's church grow, but also that we had a direction and an active investment.
