Guys, also remember, hopefully our "Licensed Tab" area will grow, which enable us to have lyrics. |

| quick question:
okay, the original person who tabbed the tab left their e-mail address...
It occured to me that some people might decided to e-mail wondering about the lyrics and the author would be confused. So...
I am wondering whether to leave the address in.

| Yes, leave it in.
It should be clear to anyone, becuase ALL the lyrics will be gone, it won't just be that song. |

#64 | | Guest | look what i found just because i said "bye bye christianguitar.ws" dont mean i aint coming back
it means that people who come here for the lyrics/chords will not comeback as often
i know the guy who is the leader of my church's youth band, and he told me taht he was shocked and that he couldn't play without the lyrics with the chords either.
he is a much better guitarist than i am, so i think that pretty much says it i am the game

| I dont know how many times we have to say this. COPYRIGHT LAWS say we cant post lyrics. And if you'd give chords with no words a try you could see that with just a little effort, you can actually figure out where each chord goes. I'm not the greatest guitars, and believe me, you can play a play the song with out the words. I have to do it all the time because of this guy I play with, when he makes Tab sheets he never puts the chords in the right spot, so I have to figure out myself where they go. Sure you have to get creative and practice a lot to get it. But its worth it.

| wait, are you saying that a christian label is enforcing this copyright stuff against us? you mean a "christian" label is trying to keep christians from learning to play good christian songs. sure we can still learn the songs, but the company is working against us. |

| I'm don't see what's so hard about this...I'm not all that great of a guitarist (lots of people would still consider me as a beginner) and I can do it. All it takes is listening to the song a few times with your guitar in hand and listening for the changes. It's not that hard to do. And if you can't do this, then you should practice it anyway, b/c it's a valuable skill.
Brent, I'm up for some tab editing, if you don't mind someone who goes real slow (I've been pretty busy lately, and a new school week is starting).
I'll send you an email in a little while...

They are trying to keep us from posting the lyrics to the songs, which are copyrighted material that they have a right to say that about.

| Hey. Why doesn't everyone just lighten up? I dislike this just as much as anyone else. Maybe one day things can work out for everyone. But until then, why can't we just be friends? People sit there and dog the "Christian" labels. Where's the Christ-like love in that. There will always be things that you don't like that you must accept.

| Mick, Rebecca St.James Section is finished, but my time has been runnin' short this week and I haven't had time to work on the DcTalk Section. If anyone wants to help out with the DcTalk Tabs, your welcome to it. There are a lot of tabs for DcT.
