It looked like Penn took the ball back out after it went in though. I need to go find the full video.

Oh yeah...that would be an OSU basket.

Duh.

Ohio State's Sam Thompson scores incredibly absurd basket against Penn State | NCAA Basketball | Sporting News

He gets the steal, assist, AND the basket.

I've attempted to post for 3-4 days and finally can!!

Kentucky has had a remarkable season, and I really believe they have an opportunity to be an historic team this year. They also seem to remain focused enough to see it through. Remarkable considering the age of these young men!

Kansas I believe will not make it out of the first weekend of the tournament. An eleventh straight conference title is consolation enough for this year. This team really never gelled, and no true leader emerged. The lack of a true big, took it's toll as well. Very streaky 3-point shooting makes for questions regarding each game. 11 conference titles for Coach Self, and he only has 9 conference losses at home, that is a remarkable stat!

Not sure if others are trying to post and can't, but noticed that this 3-man thread has some really blue-blood. KU, UK and North Carolina. Not much better than that!

As long as no one brings in that fourth (spawned in the fires of hell) shade of blue...we're okay.

This year's UNC team has been about as schizophrenic as any I've ever seen. There have been nights when they looked like they could beat anyone. And then there have been nights when they looked like the local YMCA pick-up team would hand them their lunch.

The talent is there but there just doesn't seem to be the chemistry. There have also been some nagging injuries that have probably contributed to it. If they can somehow beat Duke tomorrow and win at least one or two games in the ACC tourney...I think they can be a five seed. I don't see them getting past the Sweet Sixteen though. If the wrong team shows up they won't make it past the first day.

America is too obsessed with football to notice that basketball is just a better sport. In the SEC only Kentucky and Florida are really what you'd call "basketball schools." Actually I'm not sure if Florida football or basketball is more popular. But in Kentucky there's no doubt.

I was reading an article on this and one commenter said something which struck me as hilarious. Paraphrasing here, "if they really want to bring the hammer down they should also ban Boeheim from ever using zone defense again."

Ha.

It is convenient that the issues started the year after they won the whole thing.

31-0

Kentucky defeats Florida 67-50 to become the first team from a power conference (since the 1975-76 Indiana Hoosiers) to enter the postseason undefeated.

Looking strong.

Less than two hours until I'll need a bottle of whisky and a carton of cigarettes.

Yeah, that was ridiculous.

I was rooting for the Heels. It was within their grasp for sure. Didn't pan out though.

It's not for lack of talent.

Honestly...K is a better recruiter and in-game coach than Roy. K has adapted and moved Duke on to the next phase. Roy (for better AND worse) is still trying to emulate Dean Smith and that type of ball is gone.

As a fan...it frustrates the hell out of me. Roy makes the strangest game decisions.

Also...UNC has this whole academic scandal hanging over its head too. Very frustrating. I think Roy will be thinking about stepping away in the next 3-5 years...I really do. And for the record...Duke will never be able to match the success they've had with K once he rides off into the sunset. Now that Boeheim is no longer a close second in wins...K doesn't have as much incentive to stick around as long as some might think. If he wins another title...he may decide to call it quits too. None of those guys are young.
