Now the Republicans have a chance to prove whether they have a constructive vision for the future, or are just the party of discontent with Obama.

Polls would suggest that a majority of Americans are discontent with President Obama and even more discontent with Congress.

They claim to be discontent with congress, but then on election day, hit the incumbent button once again. The devil you know... I'm afraid I get too invested an hoping for change and get really bummed when the same people that cause gridlock are given chance after chance to continue the same gridlock.

Which is why I voted against McConnell. He's like one of the longest serving and most powerful senators around. Which is why he is so good at winning. That's the primary responsibility of politicians, you know.

Yeah. I did see a couple of races that were all Dem in the state. (Not in my district). I don't care for it. I guess it is going to make me vote more, though.

Yeah, my wife and I haven't registered in PA yet either. We aren't planning to stay here. What is odd though is that we didn't even vote absentee, and my mother in law is heavily involved in politics (like, meet-every-pres-candidate-in-the-party involved)

I haven't even gotten around to getting my PA drivers license yet and I have every intention of staying here. I have just been lazy.
