NHL 2014/15

So there has been no official thread as far as I am concerned, so I'm taking the initiative. Anyways, my beloved Habs have snagged two wins right off the hop, although the defines has looked a little sluggish early on.

I hear the crickets chirping . . . is NHL dead on CGR?

I've had a hard time keeping up this year and last, but I know well enough the Bruins have been sub par, but the Islanders have had a surprising (to me) beginning this year which is pleasing to see.

The Leafs have looked good, then terrible, then great. In other words, everything is the same in Leafland. I'm going to the Dec. 13th game vs the Red Wings with some pretty great seats. Gotta love job perks!

Lucky! I would love to get to a Habs game one day, but it isn't extraordinarily high on my to do list... At least not after that brutal beat-down from Calgary. But after the great start of the year, it seems like the NHL is starting to have some thugs rolling around again.

Flames made it through round one! Very fun, exciting team to watch. Never out of a game.

They must have given many fans some trouble in game 6--but although they were down 3-0 they had the Canucks right where they wanted them.

The Ducks will be tougher--but who knows?

Some good action in al the series.

it will seem odd with no game on Tuesday night.

Considering that some of us have never even seen the finals... yeah. Enough is enough.

Hey--congrats to the Blackhawks on winning the Stanley Cup--it's a tough grind, and they did what 29 other teams didn't do--including mine...

it was a fun playoffs, overall

But the Blackhawks were so bad for so long, this run of Stanley Cups is only fair. Right?

Well, that's the argument I use for my Giants.
