Samson Go Mic

Recently picked up this little buddy and so far I'm fairly pleased. Here's an acoustic sample.

Anyone else have experience with budget USB condenser mics?

I've found that the Go Mic is very much proximity-sensitive. Most of the decent acoustic sounds I've gotten with it were only achieved by having it within eight inches of the guitar.
