UNC is just terrible. On paper they look good...but on the field?

Painful.

It sucks to be an Ohio State fan this year, because we lost Braxton Miller, but I can say with all sincerity, at least we're not Michigan.

I know no one cares but UK is 4-1 now! Yay! We finished last season at 2-10.

HEY!!! UNC kicked the living snot out of Dook last night AND became bowl eligible.

This has been an ugly season and they have not met pre-season expectations but they may still be able to salvage the rest of it.

I'll revise this statement. JT Barrett is a beast! I was not expecting that this year. Good to know we have him for 3 more years at least if not 4 if he sits out next year due to Miller coming back .

And as long as they beat Michigan, I am okay with whatever bowl they get. I don't see the teams in front of us losing so I don't think we'll make the playoff, but Ohio State has pleasantly surprised me this year!

And SEC representation is officially gone. Today was a good day.

5 of the last 6 championships. I'm betting now that they'll have to play other teams for it, the dominance will cease, and thus reveal the idiotic bias of the previous ranking system.

Amen brother, amen. I really enjoyed the Ole Miss/TCU game. TCU put a whopping on them. The Auburn Wisconsin game was a nail bitter, but I liked the end result. All told, it's been a great bowl season so far.

I agree with that, however we still have an idiotic ranking system, if you ask any TCU fans. They enter the final week of the season ranked 3, win their final game 55-3, and somehow drop to number 5!?! Then the smoke their bowl opponent (an sec team ranked in the top 5 nearly all year). There are still tweaks to the system needed.

However, it's miles better than what was before!

I think there is enough depth (120 teams?) that this system eventually needs to be expanded to at least the top 8 teams.

TCU doesn't even have a leg to stand on. They lost to Baylor. Even in the BCS they would've ended up behind Baylor in head to head play. No way does a team who loses to a team behind them end up ahead of them. That makes no sense. The Big 12 needs to actively recruit new schools and get a championship game. By the way the SEC west was very overrated. I'm glad Ole Miss lost, but come on, Ole Miss wasn't actually that good. Ohio State beating Alabama the number one team in the country and ranked all year as well was a shock and proved they belonged in the playoff. I'm so tired of this bullcrap about TCU being shafted and hating on Ohio State. You all have Ohio State to thank for knocking 'Bama out with third fricking string quaterback. I get it though, everyone hates Ohio State and everyone wants to see them lose.

At this point, it doesn't matter, they'll just go in to the national championship being underdogs yet again and giving Oregon a run for their money. Do they win? Probably not. But they do have a chance and I'm so tired of everyone saying they didn't deserve to be in the playoff. I think they proved they did. Go Bucks!!!

Not everyone hates Ohio State (hint: my user name.) And don't be so sure that Oregon is going to beat the Buckeyes, Oregon's defense is ranked 102 - the Buckeyes should be able to score at will against them. More importantly, we have Urban - proof that OSU is God's favorite team.
