i like corn and jesus

corn cookies

hello i am 15 but i like to cook a lot and i was thinking that since my name is cornsplosion haha i should talk about corn recipes! haha so here is a recipe you can use with corn to make cookies that are really tasty and i make it sometimes after school

corn cookies
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/3 cup flour
1/4 cup corn flour
2/3 cup freeze-dried corn powder
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt

1. put butter and sugar in bowl, mix and add egg and mix more

2. add the flour, corn flour, corn powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. mix into dough

3. make dough into cookies on cookie sheet or something

4. oven to 350

5. bake for 18 min

6. let cool

7. eat yummy corn cookies and have a CORNSPLOSION of flavor hahahahahahahahahahahaha

wow that's a lot of butter. =) have you tried any butter substitutes?

also, what first inspired you to make corn cookies? are they sort of like cornbread muffins?

hi beanbag nice to meet you! anyway i guess you could use less butter or use margarine or something like that haha! but yeah its a recipe i found in a magazine a few years ago and i liked the a lot!
