| I don't know them personally and I can't read minds but it seems as if all three are relatively content where they are.
Newsboys have "successfully" reinvented themselves with Tait and he seems to genuinely enjoy being the leader of that band.
Kevin (by his own admission) wants to make art that falls outside of the normal CCM world. The AA gig was part of his involvement with Mark Stuart's Haiti mission and I don't think it was ever intended to be anything more.
Toby? Well...he pretty much is a superstar as a solo artist. I assume he is living comfortably as a solo artist and mentor to other artists (Mandisa, Jamie Grace) so really doesn't have a reason to put DC Talk back together. Honestly...his solo stuff sounds like what I imagine DC Talk would sound like now.
Does that mean it will never happen? Don't know. IIRC they never said they were breaking up...just that they were going on hiatus. Unless I've missed something I don't believe there is any bad blood between them. Kevin has popped up on several Newsboys songs.

His entire stint with Audio Adrenaline struck me as odd. At this point Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline seem to be the epitome of the Christian music machine. Both bands are just Christian music brands these days. That didn't seem like something which Kevin Max would be interested in.
| To which I say, he probably needed some cash, did what he needed to do, cashed out, and is now doing his other stuff. More power to him. If people wanna throw money at him to see him singing somebody else's music, I don't fault him for taking it.

It just seemed so odd. |

| Both this one and the Newsboys supergroup seem extremely odd to me. And that two 90's CCM groups ended up with DC Talk singers in the span of like a year blew my mind. |

Bryan Oleson, Paul Coleman, even Jeff Frankenstein was stolen in the early nineties from some other band that had a minor hit single in like 93. Peter Furler was the only original member left since 1997.
Audio A though, that's something completely different. I think Mark Stuart's voice (love it or hate it) was kind of what made them distinctive. I mean, for the majority of their run they really didn't have many lineup changes. Though Will is the only original member left, at least when the broke up they could say that Mark and Will had been there the whole time. Not a single member of the Newsboys can say that, and now only Will can for AA.

Do you remember the name? |

Do you remember the name? | I don't, I know it was some band that had a deal with Sparrow and hadn't really had a major album release but was either about to break up or had just broken up before the Newsboys poached him. He's American you know... Anyways, he used to have his own wiki page but it's gone now. I can't find much information on it.
