Other than Studybass.com is there another really good and free learning resource. I find a wealth of good stuff for the 6 string, but not so much for bass. I learn best from written tab say in the form of pdf files.
Not free, but have you tried Ed Friedland's Bass Method? You can get the 3-volume bound set on Amazon for $15. It's a really good set of books that can take you from beginner to intermediate level.
Also, look up Scott's Bass Lessons. He has a bit of free lessons.
