Is this reaction because of Axl's voice, or his attitude? I don't know much about him, but I've always heard he is a jerk, or something.

For me, it's his voice.

But you liked the other dude's voice?

To me always sounded like dried dung being grated with a cheese grater.

Being that I don't care about AC/DC or Guns & Roses (2016), this is super interesting to me. I sure hope they do a live album or post videos or do stuff that's on the internet.

For their style, I think it worked well. Axl has always sounded whiny to me. His voice worked pretty well for GnR and the later names, but I just cringe at the thought of his covering AC/DC's older stuff. Their new stuff may be good with him -- I just wouldn't want to hear him sing the old.

THIS.

I think this is just a one time thing to finish a tour but I truly hope some quality footage comes out. I would go see this if I could.

FWIW...here is GNR at Coachella with Angus Young doing a classic AC/DC tune. I think Axl may actually better suited to sing AC/DC these days than his own stuff.

Some people (Eddie Trunk being one) are suggesting that there is more to Brian Johnson's departure from the band than his hearing.

4/17: AXL JOINS AC/DC, MY TAKE.
