Are all Dukes starters NBA first rounders?

Well??? It would be VERY hard for them not to be!

I mean...
Jason Williams..#1 pick
Boozer...Somewhere in first round.
Mike D...Next years #1
D.Jones and Chris.D in the first round...

right?

Jason Williams, obviously the No.1 pick in the next NBA draft.
Mike Dunleavy, who I expect to leave, will also go in the first round.
Carlos Boozer would be a late first rounder, but would be taken as a forward instead of a center.
Dahntay Jones....... I don't think so. He's more of a defensive player, and teams don't draft for defense.
Chris Duhon, unless he improves his scoring/assists a lot, I would say no.

jason williams probably gets #1 this year, boozer will get upper to lower 20 pick. Dunleavy will stay on at duke, and will not be a number one pick next year. Unless Labron james gets injured or goes to college, he's the #1 pick. Duhon has a few more years to hone his game, and very well could be a first rounder, just not yet. Dahntey Jones i don't see as one, but could be, again, he has another year. With williams and boozer leaving this year, looks for Duhon and Dunleavy to beef up their scoring stats. dahntey jones will provide a steady defender and good offensive weapon. BTW, duke supposedly has the BEST incoming class of freshmen, so we'll just have to wait on them.

there's a possibility that he will go to college..... (any guesses where he's hinted at being interested?)

i realllllly don't think he'll go to college. The agents will hound him to go to the pro's, and look at the money he could get. I mean, the guy already has addidas and nike drooling, and they want to sign him to something like a 20 million dollar thing. Thats outrageous dough for a guy his age (17, about to be 18). Although i think it would be best for him to go to college, i really doubt that he will.

Yes I agree that chances are slim. (I know what the choice would be for me) But we are talking about the kid who stayed at a Division II high school here in Ohio (Akron St. Vincent St. Mary) when everyone was telling him to go to a Division I school to show everyone exactly what he could do.... The reason: he didn't want to leave his best friend Sian Cotton. Sian Cotton happens to be one of the states best football recruits at defensive line.... (for what its worth the leader on his list of potential colleges... The Ohio State University. )

In addition, LeBron seems totally uninterested in the "stardom" he has found. He has his coaches and school administration shield him from the media as much as possible. I'm not saying that we should expect him to definitly play college ball, I'm just saying that his jump to the pros may not be as sure as it seems.

Are you talking about his potential jump to the pros THIS year or next year? He's not going to college.......
But if he does he needs to go to Baylor for one year. :kgrin:

He's not interested in going pro this year at all. that was just a rumor. Someone in the press misinterpreted something he said.

back to the duke topic (see there's some teams that get everyone they go after! )...you best believe that Mike Dunleavy's not leaving. not a chance. he's staying. first round, yeah, but definitely not lottery. he's a bit too much of a classic player. he plays a different type of game than most of the guys. if JWill isn't, i'm gonna shoot myself. Boozer--probably. Dahntay...well, it depends. He's got another year on him. Next year's gonna be a very different team and he may step up and be awesome. It's too early to tell that one. Duhon--i think so. he's still got at least another year, hopefully 2 left.

I'd say all first-rounders except for Duhon. I agree with cowboy, he needs a little improvement. If I was on the selection board of an NBA team though, I'd have him in the first.

Duhon will prolly go in the first whenever he decides to leave, if not just because of the dearth of good point guards in the sport.
