what's going on at your school?

If you're out there, I want to know what you think about your school in the following areas...

*academically
*socially
*morally
*spiritually
*anything else I didn't mention.

Basically, what have you taken in from your HS or MS experience? What do you observe about the subculture you live in?

*academically - my school is awesome! we're only ~9-10 years old so we're pretty recent on technology and modern classes/opportunites/etc
*socially - GREAT! of course there are the frequent drug deals/crimes/etc but that will always exist. if u find the right people you can have a blast!! and have school spirit like mad!!! ahh!!
*morally - hmm well, not so good. there are Christians at my school but even the ones that are sometimes follow the wrong paths...if you know what i mean. so overall i'd say bad
*spiritually - what do you mean? spiritually as in holy? like i said before, no. if you mean school spirit, then HECK YEAH! wooooo!!! school spirit is running HIGH this year!!! i'm sooo glad too!! those are some of the memories you take with you when you leave high school

"Basically, what have you taken in from your HS experience?"

Like i said before, friendships (the times in and out of school) and school spirit (especially events/games)

those will always be in my memories

"What do you observe about the subculture you live in?"

people are getting away from God and becoming 'obsessed', if you will, with the "ideal world" the media is creating

sex and drugs --> people think they are important

i find that even more popular than that is the desire for material items...i'll admit, even sometimes i fall under that category its BAD

*academically

English and Math're okay, but the rest of the classes are pulled down by special needs kids, so it could be good in that sense but isn't.

*socially

I've no friends, so I wouldn't know.

*morally

Not that great, drugs and sex are pretty rampant, as well as general mistreatment of others.

*spiritually

If you mean school spirit wise: about half the people have it, half don't. I'm in the latter half.

Basically, what have you taken in from your HS or MS experience?

I learnt that more people hate me than I could ever have imagined before... but at least I found a wonderful guidance counselor.

What do you observe about the subculture you live in?

A pervasive, shallow "if it feels good, do it!" tone that just about everyone seems to hold up.
