Anne of Avonlea,
One of my all-time favorite fictional characters.

and I recently finished Let's Roll, which is an awesome book.
Is this, by any chance, a book about the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania on 9/11?

thy mortal sorrow, and thy life's oblation;
thy death of anguish, and thy bitter passion,
for my salvation.

Therefore, kind Jesus, since I cannot pay thee,
I do adore thee, and will ever pray thee,
Think on thy pity and thy love unswerving,
not my deserving.

Reading The Great Divorce for school (w00t). Awesome stuff. I haven't really gotten into reading anything else lately (although I'm going to try to get back into the Chronicles of Narnia as of study hall tomorrow). I'm actually considering tackling The Gulag Archipelago by Alexander Solzenitzen (I know I just butchered his name, I hope you know who I mean). Am I crazy or what? That book's something like 3 volumes w/over 400 pages each.

Yeah, it's written by Lisa Beamer. She lost her husband in one of the planes. She's a Christian and writes from that perspective. I think it's cool that the book is doing really well in the non-fiction genre; it's at #3 or something. I haven't read the book so I can't tell you how well it's written...
