Just finished The Voyage of the Jerle Shannara: Morgawr. Very good book, the ending was wierd. Left it open for more Shannara books (please God...). I am now starting on O. S. Card's [i]Shadow Puppets[i].:kyep:

Under heavy recommendations from the people here in the book forum, I have started TimeLine by Michael Crichton.

Oh, I'm reading the Lord of the Rings to my eight year old sister She's too cute...we read the hobbit in mid august, the Fellowship in Early September, and now the two towers, which we've been reading for a week and a half or something. We are on Chapter five of the second part: Where Frodo and Sam meet Faramir. We hope to be done with the whole series by mid october.

I should mention that my eight year old sister is very bright.

Heya,

Indeed your sister must be pretty bright, most people that young, and a few years older, wouldnt enjoy, or even really understand, those books. - That's great.

she loves them...she keeps begging me to read more. It's pretty cute, and it's a great bonding thing between her and I. She goes to a christian co-op (her and my other sisters are homeschooled, I'm not cuz I'm in high school), and she's going to do her book report on Fellowship

wow, you guys are tearing through those books! It takes me a good while to read books like that! Mostly just because I read sporadically, I guess.

Heya,

lol, That's a good thing you dont mind.

I dont really remember how long it took me to read the books.. I think it was about about 3 days for the hobbit, and then 4 or 5 for the other three, per one. - I need to read them again.. havnt read them in about 3 years. lol (I finished the entire series in about 2 weeks.. probably a little less, I was very hooked)

I'm reading To Kill a Mockingbird (for school) which is really good, Anne of Avonlea, Journey of Desire (I've had it from the library for forever, 'cos I forgot about it), and I recently finished Let's Roll, which is an awesome book. It's sad in a few parts, but it's definitely worth a read.
