Thousand Foot Krutch

Hey guys!!! This is my first post here!

My name is Andrew and I'm the live guitarist for TFK. I was also a member of Disciple for a long time and one of the early members of Capital Lights.

Anyways, I've signed up because i LOVE talking about gear, touring, recording, etc. and figured you guys would like to talk to someone in the business from time to time. So feel free to hit me up on this thread.

I'm also thinking about doing a video Q&A periodically to discuss gear, tell tour stories, give advice, take advice, and whatever else! Kind of like an online Camp Electric.

Anyways, hope to hear from you guys soon!

-Andrew

Dude welcome! I'm a big TFK fan. I've even covered a few TFK songs on youtube. Glad you've joined! You'll like it here.

This is my "Light Up the Sky" cover.

Welcome Andrew.

It's a great place around here. We cut up, debate, and occasionally some of us hang out together.

Hi Andrew.

Very cool.

Love the TFK stuff. I've met the guys a few times because my wife used to sing in a worship band that Steve drummed for waaaaaaaay back when. So over the past 10 years I've seen TFK play several times and had the pleasure of chillin' with the boys on several occasions (back when they were loading their own gear into a uhaul pulled by an old van and crashing at the local Travelodge). They are a class act all around, and terrific musicians of course! About 10 years ago I even had the opportunity to photograph one of their performances. That was a real blast!

PRS Soapbar

Hey Andrew,

I saw you guys blow the lid off of the Georgia Dome at Winter Jam this month. I tried to get a look at your guitar from a distance on the screen. From what I could see, it looked like a PRS Soapbar? Maybe a custom version of the SE 245? What do you use for distortion, delay, amp/cab, etc.? Welcome to CG!

Hey Silverburst, just to let you know, this is, unfortunately, the one and only post Andrew Welch made and it's almost a year old.

Hopefully he'll be back, but you might not get an answer.
