Coated Pinstripe for snare?

I need to get a new snare batter head, but I'm kind of unsure what to get. I had a coated Ambassador, but I really love the self-dampening of the Pinstripe heads. Any advice?

Remo? I had one on my old set. It was quite awesome, however, if I still had a kit, I'd be using Aquarians now.

I can't find anything that I like more than a standard coated ambassador. If you want a lot of resonants (which I like for live mixes. It fills the overall sound up when all the extra overtones get lost in the mix) you can get it, but if you want to dampen it you can just throw a moongel on there. It's a standard in my book.

I second the above. Coated Ambassador is the absolute best snare head you can buy. Personally I hate my snare to be muffled. I love lots of ring and overtones. The coated ambassador just sounds the way a snare is supposed to sound
Is bold the right word?
