Lead concept for Great I Am

I had previously written a lead for Great I Am in December of 2011, and decided it was time to redo that lead.

Here's THE ORIGINAL.

Here's THE REVISION (for the end portion), recorded today. I did revise the entire lead for the whole song, but didn't bother recording all of it.

Let me know what change you like/don't like, and what I could do to improve it.

PS: I know my guitar is out of tune.

Well in terms of your first video you could try to look a little less bored while waiting for your part.

I was thinking more in terms of the second video.

Also, I'm going to at least try to do a better recording, with the full cover of the song. I know I've already done it, but I'd like to redo it so I, too, can see what progress I've made in the last year of playing and improvising.

I think it sounds good man. If you're happy with it then it's great...if you're not then there are infinite possibilities to change it. If you're asking for some suggestions...IMHO I personally love to play octaves and unison bends with a wah pedal, like Jonny Macintosh does in the Luna Halo album, Shimmer. I liked the tremolo picking you used over the B octaves in the beginning. In the first video where you tremoloed over the 11th, 12th, and 14th fret...I was thinking you could try "tremoloing" using octaves with a wah pedal. There a lots of things you could do though.
