I'm from NZ by birth... great place. It's cool to see other people from home.

I like ANZAC Day, i think that it's a good way to show respect to the people that fought and died in the war. I didn't go to dawn service but i marched in the parade, I think that it's sad that there isn't many old diggers left
but yeah, that's what i think

Aussie, aussie, aussie! Oi, oi, oi!

i was in a play and we got to sing " I like bananas" aussie-style:

it was great!
who put what over your eyes for you to want to go to aussie

umm...hi!
I'm from Ballarat in Victoria.
Despite the believable footage of Aussie 'customs'(pressumably; croc wrestling, snake slaughtering, so on so on) it is not all like that. And I can't even hear no accents! The only piece of Aus oversees has seen is Steve Irwin in his khakis(quite a disturbing image) fighting the wildlife. We are not all like that.

Not all Kiwis look like Keisha Castle-Hughes, either, though it wouldn't really be so bad if some of us did

We do have good kai here, though. By the way, Nix, do you ever miss South African food? Is it very different to Kiwi food?

Locked into a corner, up against the wall,
I know you've been stumbling, trying not to fall.
I can feel your sorrow, and I can share your pain
I can hear the questions exploding in your brain.
Walking in the shadows, feeling all alone;
Looking for the answers, rolling every stone.
'Tis a run in silence, and laughing nearly came
Though my eyes can't see you, I know we're much the same.

The sky is raining tears tonight My brother You know it's hard to sleep So far from home The moon has covered up her eyes My sister I thought I'd find you here But I am all alone All alone Light of Heaven Lord of mercy Shine the goodness Of your love upon this day Till we see you Till we know you Till the sorrow And the darkness fades away Fades away I searched the city streets today My father The tunnel and the train The river and the rain I walked beneath the harbor lights My mother And in the shadows there I call your name I call your name
