| wish I were an Aussie! I'm from Minnesota and it sucks like a hoover! yah, when I say "hoover" all you can hear are the o's, don-cha -know! I talk like an Aussie alot, and it drives my friends crazy, but I think it's cool, and so do alot of other people! I'm going to Australia when I turn 18, just for the stupid fun of hearing the accents, and so I can try some Vegemite! I know someone down there, he sent me some aussie money once (the clear window things in your money is really cool!)
Aussie, aussie, aussie! Oi, oi, oi!
i was in a play and we got to sing " I like bananas" aussie-style:
oi loik boinoinois, boinoinois oi loik, etc.
it was great!

| It would be more North American (minus Mexico)than just American though, Canadian's are always mistaken for American's when we go anywhere outside of Canada.

| For some very odd reason, when I talk to people, they notice I have an accent but not a South African or Kiwi accent... but an american/canadian accent!!! Odd if you tell me!! I haven't been any where near america!!! |

| Well EXACTLY!!
Its when my South African accent is mixed with the kiwi accent I picked up that people notice some sort of accent, neither South African or kiwi, but rather like: "You have an accent... are you from Canada or america.....??" |

| I don't post in here anymore since I no longer live in Australia. I miss it. But if you over look that little detail I'll be willing to keep posting here.
