would this be wrong?

I was offered a trade for my ibanez gio bass. The other person wants to give me a B.C Rick Warlock bass for it. I am wondering as a Christion, is there anything sinful or morally wrong with playing a bass called a warlock. Iknow that basses themselves are not sinful. Its just the name kind of bothers me.

your thought/opinions please.

thank you

If you personally feel bothered by it, then don't do it, but on the whole there is nothing wrong with it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying or playing a bass called a Warlock, but if your conscience is bothered by it at all, then don't do it.

I agree with what the other guys have said on this. There isn't anything wrong with having a Warlock. I just pulled 1 up on-line to check out the pics of one. It does have a 'Look' that would go well in a Christian Heavy Metal Band, compared to a Church Praise Team.

Maybe look at the people in the Congregation. If most of the people at attend are 50 & above, it might make you have a weird feeling about adding it. After all - the Goal with 'Playing in a Praise Team' is focused on Praising God.

If you have a weird feeling about it - Stick with the Ibanez. Or- look at finding a different Bass to Trade for. You could always save $50.00 a month, for 4 months. This would give you $200.00. You could Trade your Ibanez Gio + $200.00.

This would get you into a Better Class of Bass. It could be something that you would be Proud of & something that would be less abrasive in Church.
---Overall - It would prob make you feel better, as well.

Good Luck!!!
