Unhappy to late to getting into CCM?

im a pretty young musician (17 years old) and my dream is to become a professional Christian musician/singer. I started learning guitar a year ago and I'm begininng to work on my voice. Iv played the violin since i was 3 so I'm not totally new to music.. but i was wondering if its kinda late for me to pursue that dream? and if its not what can i do to get there? thanks everyone! God bless!

There's still hard work, though.

The single best thing you can do is to join a band or worship team and start getting lots and lots of practical experience. A year of practice on your own won't equal what you'll get in one month of playing/singing with a group. You need to be doing your thing in front of people soon and often.

study the music, learn your craft, write when the spirit guides you (sometimes it's at odd hours and times).
Meet as many other musicians along the same genre lines as you're wanting to get into. Go to the concerts, study what the pros do. again learn the music. study the music. write write write write write. Then when you have god's blessings, and you are willing to follow the path he gives you.. You can and will succeed at whatever your heart desires to accomplish ( as long as Christ is leading the way).

Fame and success are 2 different things.

This. And too late? No, you are fine. Practice practice practice. You have to make an effort, but it will be God who brings the fans. My prayers will be with you dude.

Hey Jeremy, hold on to your dreams, and remeber, we are able to do any
thing because Jesus gives us the strength to do it.
Remeber that His will for your live is important, so pray that He will
show you His will, and give you the strength to do geat things!
God bless!
