I agree...the Infinity has become one of my favorite models. You should see the latest Bootsy bass...its a one-off built especially for him, which was presented at the NAMM show this year. Only for Bootsy!!!

edit: I cannot post urls to other sites yet...so check the custom shop gallery for the Space Bass...you can't miss it!

That is sick. It's a replica of the one he played in the Seventies.

I never understood why he needed five pickups. I do like the LED inlays though.

Because sometimes less is more but more is always more.

do warwick do fanned frets at all?

I love my 5 string fan.....

Ranier: Yes, thats the one! Thanks for posting the link. Its really something to see...and Bootsy was so happy when we was surprised with it at the NAMM show this year.

Role Modlin: I share your love for the Infinity...they are absolutely gorgeous, and sound great, too! One day... : )

martinedwards: Fanned frets aren't available, but a few of the micro-tonal designs have been made. Really something to see!

I have been browsing the less expensive models and came across this one.

It's pretty cool. I can see myself playing something like this in church.

RM: you keep posting my personal favorites! The Pro Series Star Bass was, for me, the highlight of the NAMM show this year. Its incredibly versatile, and with a solid center block it has a substantial feel I've never found in semi-hollow models. There is a video of Warwick Product Specialist (and super-nice guy) Andy Irvine doing a demo with it on YouTube....I still can't post links yet, but if you search the title you will find it. "Warwick Product Specialist Andy Irvine Demo Pro Series Star Bass" Andy has a ton of great videos that offer a real world example of the basses in action.

Thats the one! His videos are somewhat lo-fi...but he does a great job of doing demo's, played in a real-world type of way we can all relate to. Thanks for posting the link! Andy also has a great set of free lessons online...check them out!
