Wink Looking for beginners who want to learn chords

Although I'm not a beginner, but an experienced pianist who plays both by ear and by note, many different styles, including classical, jazz, rock, Broadway shows, pop, Latin, etc. -- your simple request resonated deeply with me.

That's because, in elementary school, I asked my parents to buy me a book about chords, and began learning them on my own. Thanks to the musical ear that I was blessed with, it was easy for me to start picking up various songs -- and even movie themes -- that I heard, playing the melody in my right hand, and accompanying that with the chords in my left hand.

I think we should encourage beginners to not only learn traditional musical notation reading, but also to learn chords, too. I hope you find some beginners who are interested in this.

P.S.-- I hope you don't mind my asking, but I'm just curious: are you searching for a prospective piano student; or is there another reason that you're looking for beginners who want to learn chords?
