Alright so I know that I asked this question on the old boards, but does anyone here like punk rock? I was just wonderin. That is what I love. Peace kids.

Is Beanbag a punk rock band? Or how about Skillet's self titled album? I love Skillet. I can't stand screaming and growling, and beanbag is the hardest band I listen to. They kinda scream, but somehow their music is not disturbing like other bands.

P.S. You have the meanest username on this board. Perhaps that's the reason why people do not reply all that much to your posts...

Paul J. has been my best friend for a while now. He is fine with the name. It is not meant to be mean. This is just what we call each other. I am sorry If I have offended you or anyone else. Skillet and Beanbag are not punk rock. Punk Rock is bands like Slick Shoes, MxPx, The Huntingtons, Ace Troubleshooter, Ghoti Hook, Relient K, Twotimer, Noggin Toboggan, etc. Again I am sorry if I offended anyone. I didn't mean too.

Your username has been bothering me since the first time I saw it, but I guess it was a misunderstanding on my part. What kind of band is Beanbag, then? And Skillet? I don't know much about different kind of music. Better still, I will list some of my favorite bands, and could you please tell me what kind of music they play to the best of your knowledge? When people ask me what kind of music I listen to, all I can say is, "I like Skillet."

Hey, I like some punk rock. Mxpx and Reliant K are both awesome. Someone told me that Hangnail was considered punk, and if so they are definately on my favorite bands list. Skilletfan, I really don't know the techical name for the styles you listen too. But I would probably just call it Christian Alternative. Don't know if that helps. -Ryanne

Hey, Punk Rock ROCKS! But, then, I like all that crazy christian stuff! I like it hardcore, and punk, and metal and, well ALL OF IT! With the exception of ZAO... they scare me.

and I have this thing about quality too... I don't mind screaming and all that at all... as long as it's not boring. Like, I found Beanbag boring... all the songs sound the same. I love Pillar though! They Rock. I like Living Sacrafice for the same reasons. They scream the whole time (except the latest album where they actually sing some) but their songs are different from each other.

All Together Seperate is an awesome band. But I see no one has put down Project 86 in here? I'm bummed... Go check 'em out folks. Love their live shows.

Also, Plankeye and Bleach are right up there with punk/rock/loud music I bang my head to at concerts....

You know... I really didn't like Plankeye when I saw them in concert several years ago. I suppose they probably have gotten better since, but man they stank back then. But I like ATS and Proj. 86 and Bleach though!

Hey, I like a few of punk rock bands. The ones I listen to the most would have to be MxPx, Calibretto 13 ? but mostly MxPx, (chick magnet is the sweetest song!

i really like relient k and ghoti hook. i don't own any of either of their cds, but my bro has one of the ghoti hook cds(not the most very recent, but the one before that). it's great! and relient k is just awesome!
