Sovtek Mig 100H

Wasn't planning on getting a new amp any time soon, but this one came up at a really, really good price ($700 for the amp with a Trace Elliot 4x12 with V30s...I've seen 50w heads alone go for $800). The circuit is supposed to be similar to a JCM 800. The seller had owned it for years but didn't seem to know too much about it. The high gain channel isn't working (sounds really weak), but from what I've read about the circuit it seems like it's probably just a dead preamp tube. The jacks on the back also need replacing, but they're pretty simple fixes.

Good score! Australia is usually pretty pricey for gear, but that would not have been a bad score in US pricing on gear.

I'd also recommend checking the preamp socket solder joints. A friend of mine had a bad joint in a mig 50 that made the gain channel really weak. (Though a dead preamp tube is easier to troubleshoot)
