The KId In Me.

The Kid In me.

My little kid.
I often wonder about my life as a child. All the imagination, all the energy. Wanting to explore, and discover. Playing pretend was really fun, as a kid, you really got to be that person. At least in your mind.
But what happens to the character of that little kid? We're told you're getting bigger now, big people don't do that I say, why not.
Then comes the responsibility. I can still play in the dirt and be responsible. Why do we as adults, have to give up child like ways. I still have an imagination. Why can't I be Superman? Why can't I be a cowboy? Does age restrict you're wanting to do things??? I say no!!!!
We should be able to be a kid anytime we want to be. And not hear, act like an adult you're grown up now.
So what. I took everything out of my pockets this summer and went out and laid down in a stream with riffles. Was I a kid? You're darn right I was, and it felt good.
We put to much emphisas on being adult and forget about the child within.
Well,,,I for one, regardless of what people might say,,,Am going to let the kid in me resurface any time he wants to. Life is stressful enough. How much stress did you have when you were in your fort playing games.
I rest My case.
Signed,
The kid in me.
