Why do you suggest that homosexuals gravitate towards those particular areas?

I am a worship leader...so I'm curious.

I don't really know why that is. It's just something that I've noticed over the years, but it is a good question. I'll have to think that one over.

Overall, I believe that the number of ministers on the d/l in all areas of ministry is quite low (not taking into account church organizations where homosexuality is acceptable).
I think this is a misconception based of some inaccurate stereotypes.

...OK, so having thought it over...I think that perhaps gays feel safe in the music ministry. Most gospel and worship songs are abut God's love, focusing on the tender side of God if you will. There aren't too many songs out there that I know of that deal with God's judgement and this may offer gays some form of refuge from the condemnation that they may expect from church (likely based on previous experiences). In short, the music ministry ministers to them in that regard.

...or my own limited perspective.
