When King David was in terrible distress he cried out to God. You can read about it in Psalm 77. Years ago, when I was going through some awful times, I stumbled on Psalm 4:8, I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. This is all so anonymous and distant, but I read through some of your posts, and I appreciate your desire to serve the Lord and do what is right. You can't go wrong taking one right step at a time. "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you." (James 4:7-8)
