| Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 - best soundtrack of any game, a good amount of achievable goals and gaps, but without going over the top like many later THPS games
Mario Kart: Super Circuit - best mix of luck and skill. It had some aspects that made it awesome. For instance, if you were at your max speed a red shell would follow you, but not hit you. If you could maintain your max speed for long enough then it would fall off and not hit you at all. Also if you dropped red shells behind your kart it would stay in place and go after the next person to pass it up.
Half Life 2 - Fun combined with an interesting story
Minecraft - encourages you to be as creative as you can
Golden Sun - a Great story and characters mixed with a fun battle system
Pokemon - just plain old fun
Diablo 2 - A lot of fun to see your character become noticeably stronger. Also allowed for a ton of different experiences based on how you built your character.
Super Mario World - The whole experience (music, animations, story, characters) all combine to make a really fun experience
NBA Jam: TE - A sports game that was both ridiculous and not ridiculously easy to win at constantly. And awesome cheat codes. |

How did I forget THPS, though I would have gone with the first one. And that goes DOUBLE for Pokemon, how the heck did I forget that? ooh... I don't know that either one actually supplants anything on my top 10 but dang... I can't believe I forgot that!

| Growing up, I enjoyed Mario (N64), Goldeneye, and Zelda (Ocarina of Time).
In high school I liked the Metal Gear Solid games and Half Life & Half Life 2, and more recently the Assassin's Creed series, Red Dead Redemption, and I LOVED Portal and especially Portal 2.
