If she can't puppysit, just bring him along. We are dog people. Our golden retriever is inside most of the time, and she gets along great with other dogs. We also have a large, fenced yard with a covered patio if Buddy is more outdoorsy.

We also have two inside/out cats - don't know if that's an issue.

it would be awesome for me to just show up and sit in a corner humming to myself the whole evening while knitting socks, and pretend like I can't see or hear anyone else. that would be awesome.
