hey i saw a thread on an other forum. and it was about the drumkit of your dreams. maybe we can start the same in this forum?? so write what your dreamdrumkit is!!

This could be considered an old thread, but with no posts and being at the top of the page, I'll go for it.

To be completely honest, I have the drumkit of my dreams. It's a 5 piece DW Collectors. 10", 12" and 14" toms with a 20" bass. The snare I use right now is a 5.5x14 DW VLT maple snare, but I REALLY want to get a 14x7 maple snare and a 6.5x14 Black Beauty. Down the road I'd love to get a 16" floor tom so I could go 12-14-16 but for right now I'm happy. I rarely play with all the toms at the same time however. The music just doesn't call for it. I almost always just use the 10" and 14" toms, while the drummer for my other band (who also uses my kit) uses the 12" and 14".

I know this is an old thread, but the drum forum needs some traffic. My dream kit would probably be one of those awesome Spaun LED kits, either a 4 piece or a 5 piece with 2 floor toms. And maybe an extra snare off to the side. As for cymbals, I'd probably use hats, a ride, a crash, and a china, they'd probably be Sabian aax or aa.
