MIDI Question for Timefactor Owners

Two Questions:

1. So basically I want to know if I can have multiple Program change messages take me to the same preset. Let's say my control switcher only sends program changes 1-10. Instead of having to make ten different patches for each program change, can I make program changes 3,7, and 10 all take me to patch 3:2 on the TF... thanks,

2. Also, I want to sync another pedal with the TF that has a external tap tempo jack. Like a modded DL4 for example. Is there anything that can take the MIDI clock coming from the TF and make that send the signal to sync the external jack on the DL4 which is not MIDI.

I don't own any of these pedals I'm just curious as I would like to get a TF and eventually plan on having a pedal switcher as well. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

This depends on the controller. Some inexpensive MIDI pedals will only send program changes. Decent programable pedals will let you program PC and CC changes per preset. Something as inexpensive as the Rocktron MidiMate will do this.

There are a few boxes that will do this, but I'm not sure it would be worth it price-wise. An easier option might be to have a non-midi switch that sends tap tempo to both units. If you have to chase to MIDI clock, just use the timefactor.

I'm looking at the voodoo lab commander which only sends Program changes 1-10. I could have ten separate presets but I'm just curious if the the TF can receive multiple different pc's (for example 3 and 7 and 8) and route that (with it's midi mapping features) to the same preset. (14:2 for example) I understand the midi mapping lets me set any PC 0-127 to any of the presets but I'm just curious if it goes as far as letting multiple PC's call up the same preset.

What are the units you are finding. I couldn't find anything.

Also, can the TF accept an external tap tempo pedal? Cuz that would simplify this scenario greatly.

I don't mess with MIDI stuff but I can answer this with a "YES". I built an extra three button switch to use with my Timefactor. You can program it (with in the Timefactor) to do a number of things (tap tempo, bank up, bank down, hold, etc.).
