I've gone through it, and I'll be staffing my second happening in march...... LittleSkittle has gone through it, and Eggy has heard of it, but not gone through it. You can PM me, if you'd like......... but

I've heard of it! It makes me excited, sorry.

So, are you going through it? Or have you already, and are staffing? Or just wanted to know what it was about? What diocese would you be with? I'm with the diocese of Western Michigan, and I think LittleSkittle is with Chicago. Write back!

I'm gonig to assume by those who that have participated that Happening is an outreach of the Episcopal Church. But, beyond that, what is it?

Well, for all of you out there, Happening is this extroidinary weekeng put on for youth, by youth. It is full of enlightening talks and events which never fail to blow the minds of the candidates. There are aspects of the weekend which cannot be explained because they will make the experience less fulfilling if you know and there are aspects which cannot be explained for another reason. The presence of God seems to be extremely strong at these events and the weekend as a whole is life-changing.

I attended happening #47 of the Upper Diocese of South Carolina last weekend and have come away with a new view on life both physical and spiritual. I had been to numerous retreats prior to my Happening weekend and those which I thought were especialy strong in the spirit paled in comparison to this weekend. I my opinion, the Happening experience is one that everyone should no of and have an opportunity to experience for his/herself.

Actually, I do know Kate Rankin. I know all of the Rankins. I go to church with them(St. Thaddeus). In my time, I probably went through as many as 5 of the 7 as baby-sitters. How do you know them?
