| Honestly...the Wisconsin and Kentucky games worry me more than any ACC game this season. I think we match up better against Dook than Kentucky.
Our perimeter defense and free throw shooting are killing us right now. We need to figure out how to fix both...quickly. |

Best of luck to both sides. Should be a good one. Go Cats!

| That was March basketball right there. Good game...didn't like the outcome but it was a fun one to watch. |

UNC was scary from beyond the arc. You guys nearly tripled our 3FG%. That was certainly a major play from Davis at the end. I don't know how many other players can block a John Henson jumper.

| It's going to be a rough year for the Jayhawks. Not a lot of leadership, Robinson will have to carry way too much of the load, and too many recruits didn't get cleared to play for various reasons. Expectations are always very high around here, but this year I'll just be happy to make the tournament and maybe upset Missouri on their way out of the Big XII |

| Nice game by the Jayhawks against a very talented Baylor team. They have NBA talent, and it took a spirited effort by KU, and the fans in the Phog to pull out this game. My expectations have risen with the further development of Tyshawn Taylor (cutting down on his turnovers) Withey, and Travis Releford. Not sure if they can get their 8th consecutive conference title, but at this point anything is still possible.
Is Syracuse for real, or is the Big East really down in competition this year? Haven't seen them play at all yet, but 20-0 is impressive no doubt. |

| I saw a bit of their game last night and they're pretty good.

| Now that they've gotten that pesky little football game over...we can focus on a real sport again.
Glad to see Dook lose another. |

Glad to see Dook lose another. | 5,858-5,857: That's the combined score of the last 75 Duke-North Carolina games, with Duke holding the one-point edge. I read that on espn's website, and it is truly an astounding statistic! Looking forward to the madness that is just around the corner. I was thinking about looking up the last 75 games between KU and Missouri, but don't have the time right now,
Let the madness ensue! |

| The final Border War between Kansas and Missouri will take place Saturday in Phog Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence. It's a huge game, with national tournament seedings at stake, and very passionate feelings locally in such a bitter rivalry which is coming to a close with Missouri moving to the SEC next season. We may meet up again in the Big XII tournament in KC, but this century old rivalry will likely cease. Hoping KU puts a nice finishing touch on the series, and I will miss the good-natured ribbing I would exchange with Mizzou fans.
In the college basketball fraternity there are some schools that are forever linked; Dean Smith of North Carolina attended KU as did Kentucky's Adolph Rupp and with our history in mind, I offer Kentucky the pleasure of taking KU's place in competing with Mizzou on an annual basis in the SEC. From KU to UK,
Looking forward to March Madness, the greatest sporting event in the US! |
