well see it's not a hindrance at all, i mean yeah i had to get used to it, as i learned by resting my thumb on the pickup, but now i just rest my thumb on the chrome... it's really no different and it's actually more solid... i don't use a pick so it's really no big deal.. in fact the guy in my band that has been playing guitar and bass for like 30 years and wrote some tasty bass lines said to me "how do you get such a better sound and feeling than i do without using a pick" i'm all like "it's all about technique and the feel you put in it.. so it really isn't a big deal at all.

Don't know why. I just don't like blue. But someone has to like them because they keep on making them. You've done a good job with the mods. |
lol dude i used to hate blue anything... i painted the Pbass with blue just because thats what i had on hand at the moment with metallic in it.. since i did that i'm in LOVE with a blue guitar... in fact next time i get paid i'm about to get some ocean blue pearl inlays just like the pick guard
