does anyone know anything about the PRS SE Semi-Hollow? I just stumbled across it online but can't find it in stores.

Hi McFizz. You might take a look at a Schecter Corsair. I got one about six weeks ago and can't seem to put it down. The build quality is first rate, as is playability, and is well within your price range. It comes with coil splits on both tone controls for more tonal flexablity. This is a very versatile guitar without the Gibson price tag.
