I replaced meds. with lights on my dread.-wow!!! doesn't seem to have lost any volume imho and much much easier on the the old digits then the meds.Now maybe it wouldn't work on all dreads but actually my Tak. calls for lights. Anyway i'm quite pleased now i'm left witha few sets of meds-gotta see if i can trade them for lights.

Did you go with light or custom light? Lights are 0.010", custom lights are 0.011"

lights are much brighter IMO... but I DESTROY them in VERY short order... which is an uber-bummer.

Lights feel like rubber bands under my fingers. I like a more solid feel all around, so I usually go with at least 13s. I think a well set-up guitar is more important for being easy on the fingers than anything else.
