So much for the crazy awesome new design, eh?
Thus, it's the iphone 4s and not the iphone 5. All the hype came from media speculation.

Just a few little upgrades across the board to bring the iphone into step with what other companies are already doing. No real reason for the end user to upgrade unless their contract is up.

Frankly, given Apple's upgrade cycle, if you want the 5 on release, you're probably going to be ineligible for the contract upgrade price if you get the 4s... but that's just me looking at history.

I expect we'll see the next big revision next fall.

Completely agree. I just don't like misinformation about any of the phones skewing people's opinions. I'm not saying that about Art or anyone else in this thread, but just in regards to other people I've spoken to--those who are blindly Android or iPhone haters.

In my case, I tried Android and didn't like it. iPhone just meets my needs better and I respect the fact that it may not meet others needs. And I love the high resale value of an iPhone as well. I just sold my 3GS and have more than enough to purchase a 4S.

My average speeds are around 20mbps with the good days hitting up to 35. The best is the one Art posted.

AT&T's 4G is LTE not HSPA+. I believe they've upgraded their network to handle HSPA+ while they still roll out 4G LTE.

If your guys' mobiles are getting 20 MBps, what do you get on home connections? I get like 2 or 3 Mbps on my iPhone 4, and they seem to advertise good home Internet at 15.

AT&T has been advertising 4G for well over a year and they didn't turn on LTE until last month. They used HSPA+ (and still do) for their '4G' in most areas.

My home internet is slightly slower than my phone most of the time.
