anybody run track and field?

does anyone else in here run track and field and if so, what events do you do? i run both 110meter hurdles and 300meter hurdles and the 4*100 relay.

yeah dude i run track. i run the mile, 2mile, 800 run, and 2 mile relay. i was state champo my freshman year in class B. i hop[e to gt a scholarship and go to college to get my anesthesiologist degree.

i love to run! i run track i do 200 and 400. just started the season tho. i cannot do hurdles tho! i wish i could

I coach track! When I was in school I ran the 800 and mile, but that was 500 years ago!!

i wish they had a 600 event becuz thats the only thing im good at but they go straight from 400 to 800

yeah, that would probably be a good event. My team recently had an intra-squad meet,(just between us), and the events were scaled down...for instance, the 800 became the 600, the 400 became the 300, the 300 became the 150, the 110 hurdles became 60 meters, and so on. It was fun to run different distances than they have in the meets.

ooh awesome! i would love to do that! we had a meet today but i couldnt go... im soooooo sick i wanted to go so bad though. this is our first meet of the season. we had a practice one earlier. i hope we do good.... whats ur time in 300 hurdles?

well, i'm primarily a 110 hurdler, but coach gets me to do the 300 hurdles. I havent ever run a 300 hurdles in a meet before, so i'm not totally sure, but i should be able to tell you after saturday, cause thats when we have our first meet.

ooh thats not cool. wow i wish we could cancel practice sometimes. ITS SOOOO COLD OUTSIDE. wow but coach makes us run anyways haha. i just run anyways. its warming up though. cant wait till we have to start running when its 100 degrees outside.....

i know! i HATE running in cold, wet weather! The thing is, in Texas, its like 19 degrees one day and then the next its about 70. Funky weather we have here in texas , huh? (btw, we have a track meet on thurs, and sat!!!!!)
