This is the right answer.

I listened to it all the way through today. It's good, and I think it will grow on me. It usually takes me a while to warm up to a new album.

I miss the old switchfoot. The new switchfoot to me sounds so over produced. The old switchfoot had this raw element to it that was amazing. All you needed was a guitar, bass, and drums and you could play all there songs. Not so anymore.

Really? I find their new songs to be far easier to play.

This is our go to encore jam when we play out. It's simple enough we can jam on it for as long as we need, and the song is great. And that's how I lived through high school and community college.

I thoroughly enjoyed the new album, but Hello Hurricane is still by far my favorite. I feel like the songs on this one didn't grab me right away, but they're growing on me. I think Jon Foreman wrote some really great lyrics for this album, but some may take a little while to digest. I found reading his articles at Huffington Post helped peal back some of the thought behind many of the songs like "Vice Verses" and "Thrive"
