| (Please) sell me your unused Les Paul looking for an Epi LP for a project... mostly want a mechanically solid, but un-needed carved-top.
if you know of one, please let me know!!!!
if the electrics need a little work, I can deal with that too since it's all gotta come apart!
title edited to satisfy the nit-pickers... you know who you are....

| A guitarist who owned a guitar and sold it without using at all would be a sad guitarist...

| Um...
when I looked at Craigslist for Lincoln, Nebraska, and searched "les paul", 11 results came up in the musical instrument section...granted it looks like only a few of them are actually Les Pauls for sale. |

| And if anyone has a '51 Nocaster that's just laying around, collecting dust, I'll gladly get that out of your way.
This, sort of, belongs in the "Classifieds".

| re: lincoln c-list "carved top" is the operative word... with binding already on at least the top....
I am looking at one in Omaha right now... it's almost too pretty to strip down though... but the money isn't too far off... hoping to come in under $275 to keep the rest of the project workable.
basically I am aiming to have two dimensionally identical guitars with one I can leave in drop C# since we play a lot of stuff that requires me to re-tune, and it takes too much time.
and yes, "not currently, nor in the foreseeable future, being regularly used" is what I'm looking for. "previously abused" is probably OK as long as it's mostly cosmetic issues, it's getting painted green anyway! Quote:

This, sort of, belongs in the "Classifieds". | your ideas are intriguing to me, I would like to subscribe to your newsletter.
(I don't see classifieds for guitars... I see one in the amps/effects complex, but not up here... maybe I'm blind)

| Classifieds is Classifieds for the entire forum.
Have you thought about going with other LP clones like Agile or Xaviere? |

and I've thought about the clones, but most of the headstocks make me wanna puke... and I don't know anything about the quality of the woods, etc.
the Epi is a long way from an AWESOME guitar, but I KNOW what to expect (since I have one already) and that gives me comfort.
